VR Hug aims at capturing the anxieties and sensitivities around intimacy and technology at that time. Two people simply hugging while being both in the virtual and the real, the piece suggests the superposition of the virtual and the real: It is both super connected and intimate, while both being empty and hollow. The subjects are both feeling everything and nothing while being both in the virtual and the real.
